2009, The Year of Metal Gigs (1 Viewer)

Opeth, Amon Amarth and Screamfest is what I've got lined up so far. There is also Arch Enemy + Suffocation, Lamb of God, and the Australian Metal Awards. Not to mention the gigs that have come and gone like Summerslaughter, Morbid Angel and Unleashing the Extreme.

This year has been a great year for metal tours and bands just keep getting announced left and right, anyone else agree?

And whos going to any upcoming gigs? I myself can't wait for Opeth, can't believe theyre coming back already. Amon Amarth shall be awesome is Screamfest will be epic!!!

Don't forget Megadeth/Slayer a week or two back, it was fantastic.
Screamfest is EASILY the best heavy metal festival lineup Australia has ever seen.

Yea I'm really regretting not going to see Morbid Angel. My dilemma was that I had an exam a few days later. But seeing how bad I had done, I'm pretty sure it wouldnt've made a difference whether I had gone or not.
