2025-2026 Summer Holidays (3 Viewers)

With the summer holidays fast approaching, i've become curious on everyones plans for the upcoming break!
Considering this is our final year, this summer is gonna feel a lot different
What is your schedule gonna look like?
Study or no study?
Holiday goals? - Getting ahead of classwork? Learning a new skill? Binging that new show?
Let this be the thread to discuss your general holiday plans, goals, ideas and such!

 

[Study to success]

omg I making a whole summer bucket list, moodboard and everything.

Study wise I'm planning to:
- Finish business and sac work if I don't finish it this week
- Work on my PIP
- Work on my MDP
- Make DT notes
- Make SAC notes
- Make notes on 1984
- Make notes on Mod a poems
- Catch up on math work or std stuff if I drop
- - Rewrite eng practice essay
- Finish business holiday work and any of holiday homework

Other stuff:
- Apply for jobs and hopefully working
- Go out with friends and family and go to fun exciting places
- I'm going to the Sunshine Coast in jan
- I also have a wedding to go to
- I wanna learn how to do my own nails
- Maybe successfully finish reading a book
- Make a moodboard/ vision board with my goals and stuff
- Do some art stuff
- Maybe brainstorm business ideas
- I also kinda want to start some sort of content creation but idk
- Enjoy Christmas and blast Christmas music, songs and get into the Christmas spirit

Here's mine!
Study Goals:
- Do all my holiday HW
- Read Ms Dalloway
- Update all my notes + start writing note for subjects i haven't
- Get ahead of Math Adv. Content
- Get physics Mod 6 content done (Holiday tutoring) + Get notes done for Mod 6
- Get a term ahead of Math Ext. Content

Personal Goals:
- Get my dream haircut (Shag mullet sorta thing)
- Print more posters for my room!!!
- Finish one show
- Finish Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
- Buy Christmas gifts for all my friends and family
- Write a fanfic

Study Schedule:
+ Reading Ms Dalloway for 30 Minutes Each night
Week 1
Day 1-3: Notes, I'll write/update my notes for each day
Day 1: Physics & SOR
Day 2: Business & Math Adv
Day 3: Chemistry & English
Day 4-6: SOR & English HW
Week 2-3:
Do 1.5 terms of Math Adv Chapters (My schools covering 9 chapters, 65 exercises total, i want to cover 45)
Do 5 math chapters each day on Average - This should take 9 days
Write Basic Notes.
Week 3-4
Do one Term of Math Ext. Chapters
I currently have little information on what my class will cover next
Week 5-6:
Physics Tutoring
Do HW and Write Notes After
Finalise work

Those personal goals now feel unrealistic after calculating how many chapter i'd have to do for math...

Ok so i have A LOTTTT to do these holidays cuz my school wants to finish most of the content for every subject by the end of next term and for sciences they wanna finish all of it.

English Advanced:
Read Tempest and Hagseed + write my essay on it
Practice adapting my crucible essay to questions
Read Great Expectations for Mod B as well, and find themes I wanna do cuz my school wants to finish Mod A and B next term

Physics:
Complete notes for Mod 5 + 6, since we are almost done with those and do all the holiday hw questions
Go through Mod 7 & 8 for an overview

Chemistry:
Complete notes for Mod 5 + 6 and do holiday hw questions
Go through Mod 7 & 8 for an overview
Do Notes for some of Mod 7 that we are done with

HMS:
Finish my notes and study for Focus Area 1
Write notes for Focus Area 2

i have been so locked out for the past ~3 weeks i need to catch up on all the work ive slacked off on for ext 2 math, ext 1 math, chemistry and english
once im done doing that i need to:
chem: do my chem assessment, maybe study chemistry module 6 ahead (but if i can't get to it in time that's okay)
ext 2: study the upcoming topic and consolidate everything i've done on complex numbers
ext 1: study whatever the next topic is
english: refine my ideas for 1984, actually finish reading the damn book (yes ik... im a terrible english student), spam paper 1 trial papers + study my poems
japanese:
study the units ahead, make flashcards on previous vocabulary i think is important, read read read

ill probably focus on 2-3 subjects per day and try getting all the work ive missed finished asap, idk how many hours ill do daily but probably a lot...
i need to focus on ext 2 and english for sure. then chem is 2nd priority, and ext 1 and japanese are same-same

BUT i won't be studying 24/7 and ill probably play some roblox, FORTNITE omg how i miss fortnite, and try some new games
and im also going to the beach with my friends !! and hopefully ill get to do a lot of shopping sprees in the city

I have soooo much to do
I'm spending 2 weeks on this work placement thing (i don't really want to do) but they're paying me and i can't really get out of it... so there's a third of my hols gone
School stuff:
- work on ee1 task (hopefully to finish it)
- read advanced texts (including properly reading 1984; i read it like, a year ago, and since then only like half of it even though i'm gonna have to do an exam on it this term)
- finalise history ext project ideas/begin working on it
- organise my loose papers and stuff into folders
- make notes on t1 for my subjects, especially modern & ancient: getting historical timelines + quotes from historians + statistics
Personal stuff:
- upload yr 11 and t1 yr 12 resources to BoS
- unpack boxes that are lying around in my room
- centralise my accounts across various social medias and login details etc
- i NEED to get back into reading (like, stuff that's not my prescribed texts xD) i've had some books that have just been on my shelves for months and i've never read them, like hello? what happened to me?

anyway there's no way I get any of this done but i'm gonna give it my best shot lol

most ppl dont have everything planned out like these ppl and still end up getting higher dont stress
