ppppple out there!!! if u shud happen to have a 4 unit assessment task paper (preferably the first one for year 12) please please please can i borrow it???? if u have answers to refer to thats evn better

i have my 1st paper for the year, which is the very beginnings of complex numbers, up to roots of unity...i can type it up with answers.

done and done. questions and fully worked answers, enjoy.

for the record, my mark on this paper was a shameful 96% - its quite an easy paper - as i lost 4% from illegible working.....*sigh* oh well. we had to do the paper earlier in the term as one of the students doing 4unit at my school has gone to the philippines and needed to be assessed, so there isnt as much content in it perhaps as what will be in your task. either way, its good revision.

that is quite an easy paper. why werent we given them last year. :mad1:

have a look at Q2, a), ii. shouldnt it be z⁴ + 1/z⁴ and z⁴ - 1/z⁴ instead of z⁴ + 1/z⁴ and z⁴ + 1/z⁴?

ah yes indeed should be z⁴ - 1/z⁴, thnx - i suppose that would count as my 4% illegibility.

lol, it jus looked a bit weird on the doc.

i remember our first assessment was much harder, even though it was polynomials and complex numbers. must be my teacher...
