sigh i cant do this one, trying to do questions from the trial paper 2005 here it is:

11. An electron moving at 4.0 x 10^3 ms-1 enters the electric field between two metal plates separated by 10cm with a potential difference of 50V across the plates. what is the force on the electron?
a) 2.4 x 10^-16 N
b) 2.4 x 10^-18 N
c) 8.0 x 10^-17 N
d)8.0 x 10^-19 N

can you also show me how i can do this?

Hmmm...I'm not sure if I'm correct since I haven't done physics in over a year. I used the E= V/d formula where V = 50 and d = 0.1 m. So E = 500. Then you use the formula E= F/q, where q = 1.602*10-19. So F= 8.01 * 10-17 N. Please correct me if I am wrong.
