If I have a huge quote I want to use but the good stuff is at the start and end of the quote, how do I shorten it? should I use two separate quotes for each part? e.g: "It was on a dreary night of November", "Accomplishment of my toils"? or can I write "It was on a dreary night of November, that... accomplishment of my toils"?

Which way is the proper way to quote? (p.s. the quote is just some random line, that isn't my actual quote)

Thanks :)
