i heard there were 4, but it asks u about three.

i remember the teacher saying them but if anyone knows my teacher i was probably asleep.

YEP I KNOW THIS! haha i just asked my teacher about it recently.

Social Darwinism - the theory that they were closer to apes and hadn't evolved.
therefore a hierarchy was created based on colour.
white then coloured then blacks.

Romantic Theory or "Noble Savage" - they lived close with nature

their rituals and ceremonies could resemble witchcraft ie. smoking ceremonies

thought they were superstitious

didn't find/discover/recognise any religious objects like a crucifix, altar, or churches, leading to the questioning of their humanity.
