Can I ask if you know more about personal statements, what they provide in terms of marks or additional credit points? Do they give you extra points in terms of your equilavent UAI after 1 full year of study?

providing a personal statement with your application, in addition with your UAI and first year tertiary results, it can give you a maximum of 10 points for the course you want to transfer.

say for my example, i wrote a personal statement to UTS, along with a gpa of 4.4 and uai of 79.85, that gives me an nrsl index of roughly 82.5.
the course i want to transfer into was 85.40 last year, and i hoping it will drop, but basically im relying on my personal statement to get me into the course i want.

the only extra points they can give you is based on how well you have written your personal statement

good luck
