I'm curious as to how the expansion of the universe can be faster at further distances...I'm probably wrong but isn't that information from glaxies millions of light years away and therefore millions of years old...wouldn't this mean that the rate of increase in size is decreasing which would explain why closer galaxies move away from us at slower rates...there information is more recent and therefore more accurate....pls correct me if i'm wrong
