Yo, I'm doing accounting 1a as a gen-ed over the summer (actually; in class right now --> but since I have overdue loans... I don't have access to webct/lecture notes etc). Any tips with the final exams/perdisco (or w/e you call it) assignment?

And is it me; but nothing ever goes into my head with accounting, fwiw (I'm doing okay atm). for e.g; I read something and I don't remember what I've read 30 seconds later. Its not until I read the paragraph two or three more times; then I go- 'ah-ha' Is that normal?

That is normal. Know your accounts, journal entries, ledgers, format of financial statements etc. Know them off by heart.

......or grab a copy from someone thats already done it.

at that time, i had no idea what was going on, but just followed a friend's perdisco and scored nearly full marks.

you're obviously not majoring in accounting, so chances are, you will find it a "pain in the butt" type of subject where you just gotta practice.

lol, thats also what i did, but just cos u got someelse's doesnt mean you can do everything in 30 mins, cos the questions although are pretty much the same, its got different values. So overall you would need a good couple of hours.
