Anyone here do accounting 1A?
How'd u find the exam?
IMO, It was too easy, therefore a lot of ppl will do really well..I found the exam easy but consequently I probably made lots of careless errors..even though I literally had 1 hour to check over everything

I don't know about that. I agree that the questions were pretty straightforward, good for those who have worked all semester, but judging from the markers' comments on the past papers they are pretty anal. Ahhh only one more session of this crap left :p.

Yeah same here LOL, I got to the end of the question and realised that my method was exceedingly dodgy, but what the hell :p.

lol, I somehow knew that weighted/moving average was gonna be in it...so I crammed that the night before, luckily!

I think 1B will be better, judging from tutor's comments...it's more theory/management stuff, rather than the mechanics of the boring bookeeping cycle.

kini - if not accounting, what is your commerce major?

I remember my ACCT1501 Final exam. I finished in under 2 hours, checked my answers, and left in time to make it to the ROundhouse to see the England vs Brazil game without missing any of the goals. And I still ended up with a HD.

I hope you guys like 1B, cashflow statements, corporate governance and ethics >shudder<.

I figure I won't remember a single account by the time I hit it though.

there was a choice - decide if weighted average was interesting to study...or not :p

*Sigh*

Trust an actuary to be shaky on COMPREHENSION skills ;) :p

I have no interest in knowing how a garbage truck works because it really is beneath me ;), I have a comparative advantage in doing more elevated, sophisticated studies such as law :D.
