Do di or triprotic strong acids completely disassociate in water? My teacher says that only the 'first' H will completely disassociate, which the 2nd disassociating to a lesser degree and so on, but i saw a q. that asked to find the pH of a 1M sulfuric acid solution. If they do not completely ionize, then this question wouldn't be possible to calculate.
Thanks.

Your teacher is correct - but for the purposes of the question you may assume complete disassociation becuase in the ansence of any other data the problem is insoluble :).
