Is HSC Advanced Mathematics equivalent to Calculus 1?

No, it's like an intro to calc I.


You learn a lot about derivatives and integration, but you don't learn about integration by parts, Riemann sums, the fundamental theorum of calculus.

Is HSC Advanced Mathematics equivalent to Calculus 1?

Pretty much what dasfas said above. Advanced Mathematics is more like a bit of everything rather than solely focusing on one broad topic in math. I guess for this reason, calculus in Math Advanced would not be anywhere near the expectations of the American syllabus

Maths isn't difficult at all, believe me!Literature is much difficult.
