Hey guys,

just worrying about my marks i stuffed my maths 2U really bad.. but acheiving
English adv- 90%
IPT- 97%
Phys- 85%
Chem- 85%

will these harder subjects influence the UAI being scaled... btw in my mahs class evry1 is doing quite well in maths but me

Depends what UAI you're hunting for, and the good thing is your English is good, your English really does contribute alot since it's compulsory to count it in your UAI. 2u Maths scales better than IPT does, however i wouldn't worry too much if i was you, just try your best for the trials, and put yourself back into the better end of the ranks.

thanks, thats some releif... im hunting for atleast 85.. more is better natrually.
Personally i dont know whats wrong.. i can do questions in the textbooks but when it comes to the maths examination i bum out on the harder questions.. yet knowing how to do them after the test :S

Practice by doing past papers instead of textbook questions. As you mentioned after doing the exam you know how to answer the question - imagine doing 10+ past papers - you will ace it.

A UAI of 85 should be no problem if you attain similar marks for those subjects in the HSC, and a not so well mark in maths. (About mid to high 60's).

thanks man, i just followed the issue up with S.A.M... got about 93 UAI..
