In the syllabus it just goes in relation to the key features of 1918-1945 so do we still have to know nuremburg trials in detail or anything to do with the his life in spandau prision?

The topic is Germany 1918-1945 and the personality study is within that criteria.
Knowing stuff about post-45 is all well and good... perhaps use it to round up your conclusion... but its not necessary and won't get you any extra marks.

Ok u could study up to 1945 but then u wouldnt know any of the historiographical details that u need to know such as what Gitta Sereny said about Speer. So in other word yes u do need to study beyond 1945 in relation to the historiographical debate about whether he was involved in the persecution of the Jews or not. U can bring the Wolters Chronicle into this, Speer's own biography, Gitta Sereny's debate and Dan van der Vat's comments. Good luck, sounds luck u might need it.

ive studied after 1945, i jus wasent sure if it was necessary cause all the questions they do on him say only up to 1945, ive got notes on Matthias Schmidt's book "Speer the end of a myth"
