Salut la compagnie!
Just got the next newsletter from the Alliance française de Sydney, there is a little soirée that might be of interest for another common BOSophone meet-up (I have to stop using BOS in stupid puns...), inspired by malkin's question seeing if we were to every meet again.
Music: Waldo Fabian band at Café Jazz
A six-piece line-up playing jazz, rock and Latin dance.
Friday 17 September, 6.30pm to 9.30pm, at the Alliance Française.
$20/$18, includes a glass of wine!
While I write this too, the AF still has their $20 'up-to-18-years-old' junior membership for one year (normal concession price $55, adult $65). Need proof of age and a student ID card, sounds very profitable! Chance to borrow CDs, Books, DVDs, and videos for FREE. .
Anyway, if people are interested, allez-y, mais it's not such a formal gathering with a purpose, just a hanging out thing, you know how it goes...
Once again, click here for the website of the AF.
Chépas
EDIT: The file name for the .jpg with a bit more info in it says 'August' but its for the September issue of the newsletter. Sorry!
