andrew, the connect hardware peripherals link on your website doesn't work?


- do you think knowing all the notes from your website well will be enough knowledge for the hsc??

how many electives do u do? do they have to be the same as the one's your school chooses?

I'll have a look at the website later....

I dont think the notes are enough to study for the test. They are about 95%. I try to keep updating them but it won't happen until later.

We do four electives. You don't have to do the ones that are taught to you. You can choose ones that you know. But the HSC wont have an elective section.

To qualify for the HSC you need the core modules and 4 electives. Because the electives are so diverse they do not have an elective section like say "Physics" would. So you dont need to "know" 4 electives for the HSC.

why do we do them in the first place if their not required for the external exam

well i somehow scrapped up most notes from the topic:S

• developing an annotated peripheral device portfolio/scrapbook containing at least 15 items (clippings, etc) representing a range of different peripheral devices

whats this??!!

I wouldn't say that you dont need them for the HSC. I would say that some of the practical aspects of that learning could be questioned in the HSC.
