Deregulation of the finincial sector etc. and the restucturing of Australia's economy resulted in an increase in domestic growth, higher levels of employment, higher standards of living, more stabilised economy(viewed by the lack of effect that the twin towers and the asia crisis had on Australia's economy) and a more intergrated economy.
