Damn I had ran out of time like only 10 minutes to do 25(c) and 28(c), shorten the answer in dot point for option topic
I wonder which syllabus point was Q16 has involve in first three topic.
And yeah, did you guys just wrote much on each answer?
Always for those people who got band6 was those who wrote many things NOT really answer the question rather than answer the question shortly.

I would think Core Topic 3, Communication Systems.

Under 'other information processes' - Processing.

Encoding/Decoding,
Digital Data,
Analog data to digital data
-> Digitising and Sampling of Audio (sound)waves

I'll quote for you,

came close i finished i with about 2 min to go

i panicked doing the first option topic i was 1/2 through when i looked at my watch and i had 30 min to go so i rushed the big mark questiong at the end and moved, probaly not the smartest thing to do

i had exactly 1 hour to do the options and i spent exactly 30 minutes on each.... so its not that i ran out of time i just could have used more and not rushed my answers

That's communications systems - analog to digital conversion.

Can you explain that last bit again please? Are you saying those who raved on with stuff that didn't answer the question got a band 6, whereas those who answered the question directly got less?

the multiple choice was really easy, i finished section 1 in about 20 mins...bloody info systems in context diagram was the longest part of the test...had to do it twice (dss and multimedia)...that makes it even worse.

I read your thread, sorry to hear about that mate.

Always make sure (in future, for forms and uni documents, etc) that you read everything, front and back.

HELL YEAH!! I so needed more time..I dont get how ppl can finish so early? with like half an hour to spare?! I like need an xtra half an hour..i rushed the option topics so bad I didnt even have time to read the q's properly...

English (Paper 2) was a day before IPT.

I came home after Paper 2, slept.
Woke up and started studying for IPT (the friday, that week).

It was also in the afternoon, so in-effect you had two days (could have crammed the morning before).

and i made heaps of stupid errors...so far i reckon ipt was the worst exam for me..

but thank god it wasn't hard, it was more of a general knowledge test...
