Hi is there any point in buying an outdated version (i.e. 2007) of Australia in the Global Economy by Tim Dixon and John Mahony by Leading Edge Education for HSC next term and 2009 if its cheap?

Nope, you will find it frustrating that it doesn't have much of the stuff you want. Don't buy economic text books, their resell value is almost nothing. Just borrow from school library =D
