Well personally I think your timetable's crap - where's all the fun - all the maths - all the physics - all the engineering?

Now THAT's a timetable to be proud of :p

At least I'm not doing philosophy...

Sure - you can contemplate the universe and existance ... and why the hell you are unqualified for a job ...

actually you are more then qualified for a job. Philosophy teaches you analytical crticial thinking which in an office and in a manager is highly needed.

Mine is an absolute piece of shit. 5 days a week, 2hr breaks on Monday and Friday and a 3hr break on Thursday.

Whatever they tell you to keep you in the degree :D.

On the other hand, engineers can solve problems using their heads - which is a highlight of the versatility of the degree: They can be hired as "managers or 'office stewards' (I like that one)" or even, god forbid, engineers.

and what would that be? the bathroom cleaner?

hahaha, jk. If you mean a reception or admin job then I got one too without a degree.

I couldn't be happier about my degree. I have much more free time than I ever thought, considering I'm doing a double degree

my perfect timetable grows even more perfect. :)
Two changes meaning shortened breaks and earlier ends to days.
I was asked if i wanted a second day off. I didnt want thursday off as i had society meetings so asked them to put the ecmt workshop at 2-4.

jester - you have a bad 2 hr wednesday gap. And on thursday you have to get up early just for 2 hours of study.

personally i like having a 2 hour gap each day. same as i like having gaps between lectures. it gives me time to reoganise and travel at leasure. Also time to socialise, library etc.

i could have a near -perfect timetable, except I'd have back to back classes on Thursday from 10 to 5, with no break at all for lunch... would this be insane?
