I wanna buy a bass and amp but dont know what to get. All the music stores I've been in only have a small range of bases, and an even smaller range which fall into my price range. So what are the storesd with the best range of basses?

Have you tried Guitar World (Annandale, which would be local for you)? I got my Stratocaster there and they had a pretty good range of Bass guitars if I remember correctly...

i wouldnt bother with guitar world.
go to the bass player, which is a couple of doors down.

lol yeah i err think thats parramatta road ... but yeah, the bass player is pretty good ive heard...
