Although you guys do have tonnes of excess reading, may I point out this rather large work by Professor Kershaw.
As always, Kershaw's excellent, and the his analysis on the early climate and subsequent introduction of Appeasement is really useful - especially recommended for an assignment. His methodology of presenting the political history via an almost autobiography is highly unusual, but makes it far more interesting than a text-book or a summary.

I'm studying appeasement...I found that the book written by Caputi was quite useful
