Yup. Asian parents usually want their kids to become doctors, pharmacists, dentists and optometrists with UAIs of 99.
I know a friend who is really stressed at the moment about pleasing his parents and consequently repeated to get a better UAI.

No l do not agree, just because you may know of a couple of Aisan parents who are like that doesn't mean that they all are.
