why are people acting like
all of a sudden
asia is any more important than it ever was
it has always been a fairly economically important region
if anything it is just the fact that our economy is based off dirt and resources/agriculture and the needs of our former trading partners has changed so our trading system has to adapt
instead of the brits needing millions of bales of our wool now they dont and china needs millions of tonnes of our iron ore
