Is the flexible entry of USyd similar to HSCPlus of UNSW? You can get upto 5 bonus
point if doing well
in relevant subjects?

Nope, Usyd's schemes arent as transparent as the UNSW ones and you have to apply through the site where as UNSW is done automatically.

Im not too sure if its changed but i recall usyd has the Broadway scheme which doesn't use subjects as a indicator but uses the UAC disadvantage scheme, but again it would depend on the course and the nature of entry, other members more familiar please correct this if it appears wrong

kind of and not really, you need to divulge your exam marks and also maybe do a response for what they ask in a box about yourself, while the other unis don't really

Some courses you apply for will automatically consider you under the Flexible Entry Scheme but other courses will require you to apply yourself. They assess how well you've done in relevant subjects as well as any extra-curricular activities or achievements you may have. This varies from course to course as some might ask questions about why you want to do the course whereas others may ask for your school reports.
