ok my ranks for subs are

adv eng - 54/64 i know....its bad
religion -15/62
biology -top 10/58
modern history 4/14
chemistry 28/45

school rank -48

first off my chemistry cohort is really strong so im ok with my position. my english cohort is both good and bad

provided i get these marks for externals:
biology, modern history,religion= 90 +
chemistry= 85
english = 88-90

would it be possible to get an atar over 80 .

I reakon you're looking at 83-85, obviously english is going to pull you down. With those external marks your probably looking at mid-high 80's maybe even 90's.
