Do lecturers mark attendance for lectures?

Yep, strange thing. The most unimportant lecture (i.e. first lecture) is usually the fullest, then as weeks go on, people drop out.

Lecturers don't mark for attendance in lectures normally. There's way too many people. You don't have to turn up.
