Such an open question.. where to start LOL!

20 years of consecutive economic growth, helped by the mining industry.
But mining investment peak is approaching this year, so it may hit Australia hard next year or beyond that.
Finance has been a very strong industry in Australia in the last decade. After the GFC, it has gone flat.

That good enough? lol

Some current/expected trends:
- Interest rates decreased to record lows after rising a bit post-GFC - trying to stimulate Australian economy as mining boom peaks.
- Unemployment rate has been pretty flat but slowly increasing.
- Budget is in deficit which means less government spending is expected (as they try to bring it back into surplus) which will slow any potential economic growth.
