I'm confused. I have to do a double major for this degree, and some of the required units for each major overlap (e.g. GOVT2558 is a requirement for both Government & Australian Studies).

My question is - say I did GOVT2558, can I have that count towards both majors, or do I have to just pick one?

Very hard to find this info on that brilliant uni website of ours.

Check the degree resolutions in the handbook. I'm pretty sure it says there somewhere that a UOS can only be counted towards one major.
