I'm interested in doing commerce at sydney or wollongong and am tossing up between the two. Can anyone who does commerce at sydney tell me roughly how many hours per week at uni is involved in commerce? Can i take a double major? Recommend any accommodation?

ahh you're from caringbah...there's a fair few of you lot at uow lol.

i've got a few friends at uow doing commerce and its about 12-16 hours? it's not heavy contact hours or anything. it could differ depending on the subjects you do though.

I do Bcom @ usyd - and i highly recommend it.

12-15 contact hours a week. You can take a double major. There seems to be a fair amount of options in terms of accomodation - so finding a place to live shouldn't be a problem.

And if you live in caringbah, you could still commute to and from usyd fairly easily. I know people who come from the shire.
