Hey i was wondering if it is possible to get a high band 4 at least or band 5 in my english?? as i am currently ranked about bottom 20% so yeh if i do substanial in the hsc could i get a band 5 maybe ? i think my avarage is around 63%..

at 63% i would say yes, it's possible to get a reasonable band 4, i doubt if it's enough to get a band 5. is there any particular reaosn you NEED that mark? or is it just an "i'd like it" type thing?

well i feel i will be able to get a hsc mark of about 75 to 80%
um yeh i need at least 75 or so cause it will affect my UAI big time

remember that your HSC mark (which will be used to determine your UAI) is made up of both your HSC exam mark and your school assessment mark. So if your assessment mark is roughly 63% you need to be looking at getting an exam mark in the 80-85 range to ensure a final HSC mark of around 75. Completely doable, you'll just need to put in some major effort and study before then. good luck doll
