I'd just like to know how long batteries are used until they go flat for your goodies such as CD players and Mp3 players, expecially the ones that use disposable and not rechargeable batteries.
I sold my CD player coz it used to suck up so much battery and thus money, i've since switched to an mp3 player (Creative Muvo 128 mb) but its cant carry alot of songs so im wondering whenther if i can justify buying another cd player. THe good thing aobut a cd player is that i can play my dads cds for him and it can play my mp3 songs as well, which is the real reason why i want to buy another cd player.
Anyone know any good ones out there that doesnt suck up alot of battery power?
adn is recharging better? MY charger takes too long to charge 4 AA's (NIMH)...
My old one was a Teac, so for any of you out there, dont buy it!!!

Any help is appreciated!

just keep two sets of rechargable batteries and swap when one set is finished.
Yep that's what I do. My charger is a Digitor model number GPPB01. Charges a battery in an hour (or two in an hour.. or three et cetera).

Means I have two batteries always charged and ready while two are in use.

I have found that generally the more you pay for a mp3 cd player, the longer the battery life is. Just buy a good brand like Panasonic, Sony, Phillips etc. and you should be fine.
