from the people that got in this course and are doing the course, what would be the lowest uai use heard off that got accepted to get in. or in the course BSc IT

Last year UTS was offering a HSC Bonus Schene which offered students up to 5 UAI points for performing well in certain subjects. It will most likely be offered for this years intake. Check out this link: http://datasearch.uts.edu.au/study/hscbonus.cfm

+5 UAI means that students who got 5 UAI under the cutoff would most likely get an offer (depends on demand for the particular course).
