I'm making notes relating to Belonging and I need to know the main aspects of belonging that are likely to come up in an exam so I can make headings for each of them.

Some I've thought of:

Belonging to Place/Community
Belonging to individuality
Belonging to others/ inter-personal relations

What would you guys say are the main aspects of belonging for exams that need to be understood?

Thanks :D

In my opinion try and stay away from dividing up essays into paragraphs based around those delineations of belonging.
If you can pull it off, make each paragraph about some larger issue that can be discussed in terms of one,two or more of those types of belonging (social, cultural etc).

For example, suppose one paragraph is about the theme of isolation. If your texts lend themselves to such a discussion, you can talk about isolation as hindered or catalysed by social, spatial, cultural, temporal belonging etc as well as then linking isolation to whatever the questions asks.
