what religion were the Bennet's and Mr Collins? Am I right in thinking they were protestant/church of england?...not evangelicalist or anything else?

Their exact religion is hard to determine. Most likely they would have been Catholic/Protestant/Church of England. However, if you're including this information in an essay I think just saying that they were Christians should suffice.
