What do u guys recommend for a legal studies textbook?

definetly NOT the heinammann one as it is tooo wordy and confusing

I was in year 12 this year and I think that the way to go is to write your notes using different text books if you can. Our class had access to four different textbooks, and although it does take a bit longer you'll find that you get better notes and learn more at the same time. Some of the textbooks are brief in some areas or they have conflicting info, so its good to use more than one. Heinemann was our main textbook but it can get a bit boring, Macmillan is pretty brief but has some good case studies, Longman is pretty good, it doesn't have heaps of detail but its more modern and interesting. Also, don't forget excel. I wouldn't use it on its own but it does have some useful info in it that the other books don't. Hope that helps!

I have heinemann, longman and excel hopefully that will get me through.

I've used the MacMillian one and it's good! I like things that refer back to the actual legislation they come from and the sections they come from. Heinemann doesn't do that and I think it's a tad basic, not technical and gritty - the way I like it
