In the first core you have to reasearch a biopolymer.

I am doing biopol.

Biopol is a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA). It is a co-polymer made from two monomers polyhdroxybutyrate(PHB) and polyhydroxyvalerate(PHV).

What i am asking is that do i need to know those bloody hudge bulls*hit words or will PHA and PHB etc. do for top marks?????

thanks :)

Don't think it'd be so hard to remember them.. just read them everyday like a prayer before night.

God, please assist me in remembering the name of polyhydroxybutyrate..

btw you also need to know the history of it's development, i believe.

They might ask "What does PHA stand for ?"

then you can't put PHA :)

write it once, the first time, then after it put (pha) or (phb) in brackets, then afterwards for that question you can just use the abbreviations

Using the terminology demonstrates a thorough knowledge of your subject matter. So try to remember the words if you can.

Mr O said that, how funny! He is a funny man!!!!! You seriously need a raincoat when learning about saponification or le chateliers!!! I just remember alcagenies eutrophus for some reason. Weird words stick in my head.

If I have trouble remembering long words or quotes I put them to a rhythm or a tune. It helps me.
