i found out for the first time today in Figure 1 P6, we were meant to work out the best gradient for the straight line graph or something
i just joined the first and last point ahahahha shit. dont make my mistake kids

no. well it really depends on what ur talking about. we tend to talk about the forward reaction towards maltose.

oh shit, mines due tomorrow as well, but for the intial enzyme reaction rates that are used in figure 3, my figures are negative... is that right cos i followed the formula:

reaction rate = (starch concentration at time 1 - starch at time 0)/time


is the time 1 min?

oh. u've done it wrong

reaction rate=delta([starch])/time

ie. (starch0-starch@time)/time

just make ur -ves postiive

Is there anyone thinking of an exemption from BIOS1101?
If i were to exempt, I would go and do BIOS2601 Genetics (Advanced). :D :D :D

me too. cept i will be doing ACTL1001 instead. and BIOS2601 next year
