Hi

I am just wondering. is it necessary to explain how max planck's constant explain the experimental result of the black body radiation

i know the books says he came up with the revolutionary idea of light as quantas. but i couldnt find any infomation on how the theory explain the peak of the radiation curve.

as the wavelength decreases, the frequency increases. thus the energy of quantas increase. E=hf. so the curve decrease at some point because?

does anyone know?

The black body curve is the product of the probability curve * the distribution curve from gas laws

the probability arises because each electron can only emit a photon of energy, thus there is a certain probability of the emission of energy of a certain frequency

you don't need to know any of this
