BNW/BR help!!! (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help with ideas for a BNW/BR assignment I have? I have to compare the two texts with each other and the Sydney CBD (don't ask...I don't know why either...we had to pick any location), commenting on:

- Values shared between the past (texts) and the present
- How language and techniques from either text can be used to describe the situation

Any help anyone can give would be appreciated...the assignment's due in two days!!!

Well that sounds kinda weird. But I guess the first thing that springs to mind is all the skyscrapers present in Syd CBD, BNW/BR. Then I guess you could mention that there are also a few beggars in the CBD, just like in BR (but only use that point if you're like really desperate). I guess you could also come up with something about the CBD being like full of technology and power just like the elite of BNW/BR. Sorry I haven't been much help.
What sort of assignement is it? And how much is it worth? It just sounds really random, just like our English department actually, but that's a whole different story.

It's really quite weird...we have to make an 8min video with at least 6min of speech-style narration on it, examining how a chosen location can be either wild, or somehow related to the wild, then comparing it to the two texts and discussing the texts and contexts of BNW and BR...it's worth 15% of the assessment mark (5% for video, 10% for speaking/analysis)...came from the mind of one of the weirdest teachers I know, though he fortunately left the school last year...

Thanks for the help, though...it's due on Wednesday, so I'll finish the speech tonight, check it with the teacher tomorrow, and build the video around it tomorrow arvo...hopefully it'll be done in time!
