BSC without chem? (1 Viewer)

I'm a VCE student, and might be moving up to Sydney for uni.

I read on the UNSW website that chem is assumed knowledge for a BSc. However, I'm planning to drop it. If I end up doing Science in UNSW, should I take the bridging course? How important is it? Same question for USyd, but didn't see chem listed as assumed knowledge there.

I cannot speak for UNSW but at USyd some units have chemistry listed as assumed knowledge. Take a look at the structure for BSc: http://sydney.edu.au/science/fstudent/undergrad/course/bsc.shtml#course_structure . You'll see that you won't need to do Chemistry if you plan your UoS/Major carefully from start to finish. All the best ~

What major? I'm taking a Science degree but I never touched Chemistry ever because I don't need to for the purposes of my major.
