i don't think it's quite illegal, probably a little grey patch somewhere in the law books which allows this

after seeing some papparazi documentaries, its supposed to be quite legal since that place is a public area (disclaimer : not a lawyer)

I don't have any issues with it. I would have liked to have been informed that there are webcams around the uni, just so I know not to scratch my arse in full view of a camera screening my arse scratching to the world.

theres some security cameras at uni.. and some that i've seen are equipped with infrared!

the cam is so wrong! i mean here we are, sitting at home, we have nothing to do with the place and we can see all the people and cars going past. like wtf, why connect it to the net and why let anyone log in as a guest?

there are some locked functions like moving the camera but you have to have admin rights or something
