Cable Internet < $50 (1 Viewer)

hey all,
my 12month contract with optus is just about over and i was thinking about moving to another company for Cable since I only get 1gig for 50bucks.. i dont want ADSL bcos my rents will just get pissed since Optus drilled in the walls and stuff for Cable and if I leave the modem that came with Optus installation then it'll be such a waste.. so can anyone recommend me any good, reliable cable plans that are over 1 gig and cost 50bucks or under?

I dont think so... 60 bux is the cheapest for 12 gig... Ithink you should start a fresh contract with optus, their service is the most efficient and fastest (bar ADSL 2)

there are only 2 cable companies, telstra and optus. no resellers, i don' think.

if you also have phone, mobile and broadband internet with telstra... they can give you a 10 percent discount. So i'm on unlimited cable for $63

haha i had that 1 gig contract and i couldnt wait for it to be over.. i am now with telstra which has 10 gig every month.. we had free installation and stuff and its $60 a month. Many people say it is crap but i have never had any problems with getting online, slow speeds etc.

they have alot of customers, but that is only due to spending alot on marketing. their plans aren't very cheap, especially since they charge for up and down.

ive heard bad things about dodo, being unreliable and not worth the money (even though its relatively cheap, i think). go with reputable companies, and in my opinion, tpg has joined the ranks of the reputable.

but thats adsl, not cable.

dodo aint cheap. the 9.90 is just the base price. You get charged for downloads additionally to that (over some low limit)
