whats the formula for working out the inflation rate when given CPIs and change in real output on previous years?
and also... how do you work out the participation rate, etc etc??

participation rate = working force/working age pop. x 100

well inflation rate = (current infltn - previous infl)/previous inflation x 100

eg: yr 1 CPI = 100, and yr 2 CPI = 150, then it is

infltn rate = [(150 - 100)/100] x 100
