Just wondering if there are any here...

If so, how are you preparing for the mid-semester test? For past students, is it really *that* hard? What's the pass rate?!?!

i guess studying would be my main plan of attack for an exam, although i haven't done any yet

im not to worried, i believe you can screw up at least one assessment, and ive chosen this one for BBA111, afterall this stuff isn't tested again

focus on studying for after the break for the final worth 45% (or something like that) compared to this test only worth 15%

Very good point. Am planning to read through textbook monday morning, and use tommorrow night, monday evening--> tuesday day and tuesday night for accounting... OH LORD how I don't like accounting. Debits and Credits suck and creative arts students should be given bonus points for trying to answer questions laterally in an entertaining manner. *sigh*

I'm doing BBA111 this semester. Don't turn up much though because its the only thing I'd have to come in to uni for on a Monday/Thursday! :) I love iLectures, but I don't listen to half of it becuase it gets so boring (windows media player has a "play at double speed" feature which is AWESOME!).

That's my little rant about BBA111. Study-wise, I've got notes I've typed out for the various chapters, except for last weeks, which I"m just going to read.

The test is only worth 20% so it shouldn't be that bad, I don't think... I heard that the questions are more from the text than the lectures, too..?

So what'd you all think, boys and girls? I found a few of the multiple choice questions were answered by the next question a few times, which was a little rediculous... beyond that there were a few terms I'd not come across in my skim-studying, but overall went okay.

How bout you?

not that great, like some where obvious and others i had no idea. wonder how many ppl finished, because lecturer seemed to think ppl wouldn't finish them all, and just to mark any because there's no negative marking. the time factor was ok, but didn't get to check any.

oh well, another assessment down, one left till break!!!

ps: how boring is the lecturer and how shit is he at using the computer???

yeah its cute/pathetic when he scrolled down the LONG way to the bottom of that spreadsheet thing lol

i finished ten mins early and left ... i dunno but for some reason i can't be bothered staying and double checking my answers anymore... i just wanted to get out of there asap.

What did I think of it?... well i don't want to say it was easy coz then i'll look like a dickhead if i fail or just pass it or something... but yeah it was one of those exams that would be a bitch to sit if u didn't study.... i did though so mehh

Yeah, I think 70% is a credit. >65% is, I believe.

My results:
50/70 = 14/20
hmm.. not bad, I suppose. Well done everyone :)

Yikes, where are the results from? I'm not looking forward to mine... I sorta didn't really study (moral issues, I hate rote learning :( Plus, was more concerned about accounting at the time.

Ah, found my results. Conceded pass, I think? (33/70). I'm good with conceded pass.
