Can someone help me with Q12 from the MC of the 2003 Paper.
It's to do with empirical and molecular formulae
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Notice the white colour which shows the Amount (mol) of each element in the compound.
From this, I matched these values up the molecular formula as the question specifies that over the empirical formula.

As Carbon and Chloride are identical and look close to 2 and Flourine looks close to 4, I chose D which is the answer.
