i just found out that the atar cutoff for business/science in computer tech is 88 which i may achieve . Say I gert accepted into that. Can i drop science in computer tech during the degree and if so what is the earliest point. thanks much appreciated

This is at UTS right? For that course specifically, due to the lower cut off, you can't actually drop the BscIT component of the course like that. You have to transfer into B Business and get the neccesary grades for it. I have met a guy during my first semester who was doing B Bus/BscIT but was only doing Business subjects though.

oh ok cool. btw is sc computer tech it computer related things right? i havent done it since year 9 and will be lost. does it matter i have no IT knowlesdge?

Yeah it is, dont worry. They wont throw you in the deep end and wont assume any IT knowledge besides what the average person should have. You can probably get away with doing no/little IT subjects (since course plans are no more than a reccomendation) and trying to transfer asap, but who knows? You might like it.

how is UTS btw. the people the teachers the facilities from your point of view. ive been there a couple of times its appealing but i want to know from an actual student
