Can you tell whether a business is a company without asking? (1 Viewer)

I'm having sooo much trouble with this Business report I have been writing. The business manager I interviewed confused me a bit.
If the name is _____and associates - It's a partnership right?
So therefore it is not a company.
+there are only 8 people employed so why would they want to be a company... I am assuming.

A partnership can be a company. It isn't one or the other.

I did. but they mentioned something about both. Like the benefits of both and didn't directly state what they were.
