That museum SUCKS. We went to Canberra in year 10, and instead of taking us to the gallery to see Monet we went to this friggin stupid BROWN and PURPLE knot of a building, with massive braille on the side. It was supposed to be all about Australian History, which is a guarantee for absolute boredom.

I'm still bitter about missing that Monet exhibit.

The War Memorial was a nice place...some idiots in my class were told off for throwing things in the water feature running down the middle of the hall...sigh

ooo questacon was MAD! :D I dropped down the freefall and went under the guillotine! There were also lame exhibits, like lifting up a rubber pig and estimating which one was heavier :rolleyes:

There was also a rollercoaster rise simulation but the line was way too long so I didnt get a go :(

COLOR=DarkOrange]OMG we went to that for art when i was in yr 10 - best exhibition ever... it was soooooo amazing...
i love canberra - cant wait to move there next year[/COLOR]
