So i just finished my first yr of business (aka commerce) at UTS and i'm still indecisive on what majors to choose.
One major i've chosen so far is finance since i found the first yr. finance core subject quite interesting. However im not sure whether i should do an accounting related sub-major e.g. financial reporting, financial service etc since i didn't find the first yr acc core subjects interesting much (I don't mind doing some acc btw)
Are the accounting or acc related sub majors even worth doing, in terms of job prospects compared to a entire acc major?
Are the first yr acc core subjects a good indicator of what the acc. majors/sub-majors will be like?
What other majors/sub majors should i consider?
Should i consider an extended finance major?
Thanks
